Beautiful house.

This looks like a prop from The Wizard of Oz. It doesn't even look real. I like it a bunch.

Lovely sepia tones and scene. Very dreamlike.

Good one. The house looks like a toy!

Wow, great shot! Is that a photoshop trick?
16 Oct 2006 9:26am
@Robert Buckley Photography: No photoshop trick per se. I did blur the background a bit more which can sometimes increase the feeling of minaturization (ala Finnish photographer Miklos Gaal).
I have really strange feeling from this photo.... This is a very weird place...

Hey Rodion said that too :)
Really nice image !!

You can actually tell that you blurred the image a little, F5 would definately have given the background a little more detail. However it really does add to the shock value of the picture. The Sepia tone gives it an old fashioned feel. For me personally its a feeling of necessity, because we know that photography was even more expensive back then than it is today.

very wonderful shot. though you seemed to have missed the blurring of the hill to the left of the house. but it's still a very natural processing job and a normal person wouldn' tknow it. love the sky too.

Where is Godzilla? I expect him to step in and squash your little building. :-)
