Great shot! Many of your subjects tend to take on a surreal quality. I don't know how you do it.

I am still wondering how did they allow you to take pictures.

@Shuva Brata Deb: Well . . . it's a bit risky. I do it very casually and openly, so that no one thinks I'm trying to hide something. Also, I don't do it around the security check points, but only near the gates or outside. Still . . . and especially at places like LAX . . . they are probably not happy with photographers. :-)
an HDR i presume? We tend to see airplanes in its whole. Nice perspective you took here. good work

@Kelvin Chan: No HDR. I do have a tendency to bump up the contrast quite a bit on my photos. Plus, it was a rainy/cloudy day (yes it does rain in southern california) which gave a very nice light. Also, I like to zoom in on details of objects. I feel this "abstracts" ordinary scenesa and objects, gives us a different perspective and possibly an altered feeling, mood and/or meaning.
Seems as Claire said, almost 3D. the clarity is wonderful.

I love the lighting. It looks very clean and modern. Or like it was parked somewhere waiting to be bought.

Warm, nearly organic tones. One could say a nude of an airplane.
Very nice and "zen"!

The post production on this is perfect. You took a (relatively) average shot and made it jump. Well done.
