wow i love this shot craig. i have absolutely no idea as to the size of this - but if its las vegas i guess its huge. beautifully composed and the effect of the sky and clouds is wonderful. really looks powerful. excellent pic mate.

Crazy coincidence but I think I saw this statue on TV last night! It was a reality TV show called Top Chef. They were in Las Vegas for the final competition. Both Aurelie and I saw the lion and we both thought it looked exactly like this photo. Pretty cool eh?

@Aaron Schmidt: I actually had dinner in the restaurant of the chef/judge of Top Chef. Great food. It is in the MGM Grand Hotel where this lion shot was taken. That might have been why it was in the show. :-)
