This is not a double-exposure, but shot exactly as you see it ... in real time.

That is a cool and weird shot. Multiple exposure ?

@Francis: No, it is not a double-exposure. What you see is exactly as I shot it in real time.
Far out! Timing or what?! This is an incredible shot, do you walk around with the camera out all the time just in case?!

What was going on??! Anyway really surrealist! Wow!

So there's a great burst of flames from somewhere (where?) and everyone around is totally oblivious to it except you who just happen to have your camera out ready for the shot. What happened here?

@Carol: I don't want to say too much about what was happening (or happened) except that it took some time to position myself in the exact position to capture this shot as it occurred. :-) If you disect the image closely you might be able to conclude how the event took place. :-)
A reflection then? Although I don't see any other evidence of reflection.

@Carol: No reflection. :-) The shot was straight ahead with no tricks of light or mirrors.
The randomness of this scene is great. It's got to have something to do with the roadworks. Nicely taken mate!

Nice shot and good eye! I'm guessing the flame was somewhere in the foreground near the workers out of harm's way. Must've been fun to compose this one!

You were at the good place at the good moment and ready to shot! You're a very good picture's hunter!

Wow this is incredible. Love the heat wave distortion on the right side.

Brilliant. Your eye and your imagination to capture the things you do is wonderful Craig.

nice timing - I'm still sorting out the technique great title too - I'd take your word for it if you told me there was a charred skeleton in your next shot :)

hmm.. i guess.. they were heating something up from behind the fence.. and the flames were far away from anyone... yr composition makes it look like the house just blew up!... well done.. n glad that no one got hurt=)
