That jet trail balances everything out and fills out a rather empty sky. Great work. I wonder how it would look with a long shutter. The blades would blur, and the jet trail would be longer. Would love to see the windmills not frozen solid.

I'm not sure what else there is to say about this other than it is very well done. It really speaks to me, it's filled with objects that are complex and dynamic yet at the same time they are all very artificial and thus this photo leaves me with a sense of loneliness...the jet trail in the sky, as mentioned, balances it all out and yields the photo a sense of leaving and loss. I too would like to see it with a longer exposure, but even still it is a veyr well done photograph. Good work, I've always enjoyed your art.

welcome back craig. A fine image. Wind farms have always been rather eerily exciting for me as when I was younger Id walk up to the base of these giants and just stare up. You couldnt gauge the distance to the blades and it felt as though theyd take my head clean off...luckily they didnt. Your photo brings back memories. thank you.

You love your airplanes in the sky... and, I must admit, so do I. =)

The repetition of subjects, uniformity of shapes, simplicity of color make this photograph great, but the plane makes it phenomenal.

Excellent. They're having trouble installing these in Oz, something about wiping out an endangered parrot. Great shot.

Amazing! The black and white treatment really focusses the subject and tones. Truly stunning.

great shot Craig. I often wonder how to use these windmills in a composition and I think you've created something really nice here. The jet trail is perfect.
